Personality

generally level headed | thoughtful | suspicious | proud | resilient | alert

    June is generally calm and thoughtful, but due to her recent experiences, she is easily irritated and tightly wound. She is observant and intellectual, researching information as thoroughly as she can. She hates cryptic or withheld information.

    June constantly tries to improve herself, never settling on just good enough if she can help it. She is cautious, being rather suspicious of people and places, especially if something feels off. Though not particularly social, she is cordial, leading her to lower her guard around those who are pleasant. She is warm and considerate to those she likes, but cold and snippy to those she doesn’t. She holds onto grudges tightly, and is not quick to forgive someone for wronging her.

    June often internalizes her emotions, making her able to act as needed. However, this also does not allow her release, making her liable to small outbursts of various degrees. June is good listener who is generally patient and non-judgmental, but she does not tolerate nonsense, especially if it leads to danger

Backstory
*From a future slightly sci-fi version of Earth

    June was finally living a life she wanted, away from her overbearing mother. She attended college with scholarships, she had two part time jobs, and she was living with her best friend Nani in a spacious apartment. Things were going well, until she was carried off into the sky by a strange lightning man, whom she later found out saved her from being sacrificed by a cultist.

    Without explanation, the man dropped her off at the base of a supernatural hunter’s organization called Cardians, and her life was thrust into confusing and extraordinary situations. This division called Inferna was currently dealing with Dante, a vampire, and his cult, the Ringleaders, whom she unknowingly escaped from. Due to a series of events, Dante was hunting the Inferna team down. In addition, June and the Inferna team discovered that a pair of Fae who aided Dante kidnapped Nani.

    While enacting the missions thrust upon her by her new “job,” June aims to find and rescue Nani, while aiding Inferna through research. But information is hard to come by in Cardians, and it’s easy to feel discouraged.

Likes: reading, bonsai trees, scarves
Dislikes: cryptic hidden knowledge, assholes, swimming (afraid of drowning)

Moped: standard vehicle (though faster than typical moped) 


Fighting Style

    June was not a combatant before Cardians, but the line of work she finds herself in as a supernatural hunter requires it. In the year she’s been with Cardians, June has taken up gunmanship, taking a pistol and a rifle.

    The pistol is her main weapon because of its quick access. The rifle is stronger and more focused, but it requires both hands. She will try keeping her distance to shoot assailants. Through repetition and practice, June has committed drawing and reloading to memory, allowing her to quickly take out or reload her guns. Just in case things get too close, she has a combat knife, but since melee and physical strength are not her strong suits, she prefers not to use it. Despite her lack of experience, she has become a decent marksman.

Weapons:

    -       Energy powered Pistol (can morph between gun and a travel sized compartment)
    -       Energy powered Rifle
    -       Titanium Combat Knife

*Energy powered: the guns are like space blasters, shooting energy instead of bullets. They have a number of shots (Pistol 14, Rifle 6) before they need to cool down for a few seconds (equivalent of reloading). Otherwise over heating causes the energy cell to overheat and become unusable until it is fixed.

Equipment:

    -       Backpack (Inventory below)
    -       Radio Transmitter
    -       Miniature graphing hook (stronger than it looks, enough to quickly swing on but cannot hold for longer than a minute or so)
    -       Electronic Log and Encyclopedia (the device on her left arm; allows her to jot notes and has a database of the things she’s researched)
    -       Chest plate and Thermal Jumpsuit

Inventory:

    -       First Aid Kit
    -       Extra energy cells (ammo in case her guns overheat)
    -       A length of rope
    -       3 bottles of Holy Water
    -       Scissors (found in Nani’s room, seemingly Nani stabbed whatever attacked her)

Strengths:

    -       High stamina and running
    -       Innate sense of direction; she rarely gets lost
    -       Intellectual; perceptive and good at solving riddles
    -       Fortitude, prepared to endure

Weaknesses:

    -       Girl can hold a grudge, so this pride affects her judgment at times
    -       Not very strong physically (a little below the average human)
    -       Freezes up when at a complete loss of what to do
    -       Lack of experience; she’s young and has only been with Cardians a year
    -       She’s only human, which may prove a disadvantage against demons, giant snakes, etc
